However, we want to create a display that reflects the colours and themes of your event, so would love to hear your suggestions on how we can meet your individual requirements. Let us help you create that wonderful experience and memory.

| The history of chocolate |
Chocolate was first thought to have been discovered around 2000 years ago in Southern America, when natives used the cocoa bean in a delicious beverage. In fact, this was regarded as a beverage of the gods, although it was not as sweet as the chocolate that you and I enjoy today. It wouldn't be until the Americas were discovered in 1492 that Europe would find out just how wonderful chocolate was. Although they were not quite at the chocolate fountain stage, they were quickly introduced to the cocoa beans exciting secret.
For the next few hundred years, chocolate was enjoyed as a warm drink and continued to improve as time went by. However, it was not until 1847 that chocolate became edible as a solid food. Then, in 1876, it was discovered that it was possible to add milk to the product to make it taste that little bit better. Now, around 2000 years from it‘s humble beginnings, we have reached a great place where we can indulge ourselves in the pleasure of warm, flowing chocolate. Hire a Chocolava fountain, the pinnacle of chocolate evolution. |
